~ That Same Star ~

~ EPIPHANY OF THE LORD ~
And by the light of that same star,
Three wise men came from country far;
To seek for a king was their intent,
And to follow the star wherever it went.
This star drew nigh to the north-west,
O'er Bethlehem it took its rest,
And there it did both stop and stay,
Right over the place where Jesus lay.
Then entered in those wise men three,
Full reverently upon the knee,
And offered there, in his presence,
Their gold and myrrh and frankincense.
Then let us all with one accord,
Sing praises to our heavenly Lord;
Who with the Father we adore
And Spirit blest for evermore.

  1. Those figures in the first and last photos look huge - as large as the figures in our church! Are they as big as they seem? They're SO beautiful!

  2. They are my largest nativity set, but, the two tallest figures are maybe only 18 inches tall. Actually, I have a plastic set (Baby Jesus, Mary & Joseph) for the exterior of the house, those are the largest.
