Cover the pennies with soda pop; for best results, pennies should not be sitting on top of each other. (Little Lamb wanted all her pennies in at once). :o)
Let sit for about 5 - 6 hours (you can flip them halfway through, and check on them periodically to see the changes - or at least Little Lamb did). Aren't most scientists curious?
