~ A Penny For Your Thoughts ~

2nd Grade Experiment:  Cleaning Pennies with soda pop

 Place (dirty) pennies in a dish; we used a stainless steel bowl.

Cover the pennies with soda pop; for best results, pennies should not be sitting on top of each other. (Little Lamb wanted all her pennies in at once). :o)

Let sit for about 5 - 6 hours (you can flip them halfway through, and check on them periodically to see the changes - or at least Little Lamb did).  Aren't most scientists curious?

Little Lamb's side comment:  "Mama, if I ever get to be a Scientist, I'm going to prove to the world that C**e is bad for people."
