School Send-Off

Even though my oldest two are (now) away at college, this mama still enjoys rejoicing with the start of a new school year...and I hope to continue to include all my children in one fun and simple tradition.

Keeping the excitement alive with a 'surprise' of fun school supplies and treats adds to the changes of the new season and start of the educational year.

No one complains about receiving these First Days of School gifts...

Home Educating my children has been such a reward, for many reasons.  I have absolutely no regrets.

I am so very thankful that I am able to Home Educate...I believe it to be a privilege and a blessing!  And yes, Home Educating is not for everyone, but it was/is for me and my family.

First Days...School Days (circa 2003)

I did not always believe that 'homeschooling' was for me.  It wasn't until my oldest was a few years old that I really even understood (or thought about) Home Education.

After years of research, prayers and talking to parents that home schooled did we decide to TRY homeschooling our son through Kindergarten.
Praying for clarity, confirmation and God's grace was key.

Homeschooling worked for us.  We took 'homeschool' year by year, day by day...
